Struggling to stay afloat with an underfunded athletic department, Temple University will cut seven varsity sports in 2014. 150 student athletes will be affected and nine coaches will lose their jobs, according to the AP. Baseball, men's indoor and outdoor track and field, men's crew and men's gymnastics, women's rowing and softball will all be cut.
