Both the New York Knicks and their third-year guard, Iman Shumpert, have struggled through most of the season, losing their last seven games at Madison Square Garden and giving the fans little to cheer for thus far.
On Friday night, however, the Knicks came to life against the Orlando Magic, and it was Shumpert who provided the exclamation point.
That vicious stuff calls to mind last spring's dunk against the Pacers in the Eastern Conference Semifinals, which, coincidentally enough, was the last time Shumpert played effective basketball for more than a game at a time.
