Kevin Harvick Inc.'s Ron Hornaday won the Keystone Light pole for today's AAA Insurance 200 at Dover International Speedway.
Hornaday turned a lap of 23.145 seconds (155.541 mph) in the No. 33 VFW Chevrolet. It was his 21st career pole, second pole of the season, and seventh top 10 start of 2009.
Colin Braun, in the No. 6 Con-Way Freight Ford, will start on the outside pole position with a lap of 23.225 seconds (155.005 mph).
Driving the No. 16 Albertson's Toyota, Brian Scott will start third with a lap of 23.332 seconds (154.295 mph), then Johnny Sauter in the No. 13 Funsand/Rodney Atkins Chevrolet, who starts fourth with a lap of 23.351 seconds (154.169 mph).
Rounding out the top five is Chad McCumbee in the No. 07 Tiwi Chevrolet with a lap of 23.469 seconds (153.394 mph).
Finishing out the top 10 are; Terry Cook, Johnny Benson, Todd Bodine, Brian Ickler and Kyle Busch.
Other notables qualified the following; Mike Skinner, 11th; J.R. Fitzpatrick, 16th; James Buescher, 17th; Rick Crawford, 18th; Tayler Malsam, 20th; Matt Crafton, 23rd; Scott Wimmer, 24th; Dennis Setzer, 25th; and Tim Bainey Jr., 33rd.
The race starts at 5 p.m., but Speed TV will broadcast the race on tape delay at 8 p.m. started by Krista Voda and the Set-Up Show.
