MLB Hands out Unfair Three-Game Suspension to Yankees' Kyle Farnsworth

MLB has handed out what most feel as an unfair three-game suspension to reliever Kyle Farnsworth, for throwing behind Boston's Manny Ramirez at Yankee Stadium on Thursday night.

Both Farnsworth and manager Joe Girardi both were very shocked and outspoken about the suspension, which Farnsworth plans to appeal. They both believe that the pitch was unintentional, and that since it did not hit Ramirez, there should not be any punishment.

Possibly the best quote on this comes from the captain Derek Jeter, who said "I've gotten hit a lot of times. Getting hit hurts. Getting close doesn't".
