Crabtree is expected to see his role on the offense increase this week after last week's two-catch, 68-yard performance. The 49ers have yet to say how quickly they will bring him along, but expectations are growing every week.
It will likely be a tough match-up for Crabtree and the Niners, even though the Seahawks are short two starting defensive backs. In fact, their pass defense still ranks first in the league and they are allowing just 177 yards per game through the air and have 16 interceptions and 34 sacks on the year.
