Austin has just six catches for 64 yards since his 138-yard, two-touchdown performance in Week 11. While he remained a highly targeted receiver last week, the 49ers pass defense really clamped down on his, rendering him ineffective for much of the game.
Austin will face an equally tough task this week when he faces the Cardinals' fifth-ranked pass defense. The Cardinals have allowed an average of just 233 passing yards per game but have given up 22 passing touchdowns this year.
