Cordarrelle Patterson: Week 14 Fantasy Outlook

RotoWireContributor December 4, 2013

Patterson was the one Viking receiver who failed to benefit from Matt Cassel's insertion into the lineup last Sunday. Cassel trusted veterans Jerome Simpson and Greg Jennings, leaving Patterson with just one catch. He'll face an uphill battle for fantasy relevance in Week 14 at Baltimore.
Patterson did run for a 33 yard touchdown last Sunday as the Vikings are doing their best to get their playmaking rookie the ball. He has had some drop issues over the past two weeks however, and if you needed more reason to not start Patterson, consider the weather is calling for a wintry mix and freezing temperatures, and the Ravens rank 12th in the league against the pass. Patterson's best days remain ahead of him.
