The international season takes its leave for now, but not before Wales and Australia, almost the only national sides in official competition this weekend, rounded things off with an almighty thud.

At the Millennium Stadium, it was the Wallabies who managed to keep the Welsh misfortune ticking over in terms of success when it comes to the autumn Tests, but not before each side left their rather substantial mark on one another.

As things returned to the club scene, the Top 14, Aviva Premiership and RaboDirect Pro12 welcomed back their international talents, too, as collisions from England and France were enough to cause tremors big enough to make this week's list.

Just for good measure, the Barbarians were in action against Fiji this weekend, too, in what was an incredibly open contest between the two sides, leaving one South African in particular with a bruise he's not likely to forget soon.

With all the and more, watch on in squeamish fashion as we bring you the biggest hits in world rugby this week.
