Hornaday and Skinner Lead Practices for the Truck Race at Dover

Kevin Harvick Inc. Ron Hornaday Jr. would be the fastest in Thursday's first practice session for Friday's AAA Insurance 200 at Dover International Speedway.

He would pace the first practice session with a lap speed of 152.788 mph.

Kyle Busch would be the second fastest with a lap speed of 152.620 mph and followed by Mike Skinner with a lap speed of 152.001.

Then Todd Bodine and Timothy Peters would round out the top five.

Positions six through 10 were; Brian Ickler, Johnny Sauter, Terry Cook, Colin Braun and Stacy Compton.

Other notables were, Brian Scott 11th, Matt Craftin 12th, Johnny Benson 14th, Rick Crawford 17th, and J.R. Fitzpatrick 2oth.

In the first practice, only 31 trucks participated in the session.

Then in the final practice, Randy Moss Motorsports Mike Skinner would be the fastest truck. He would pace the final practice session with a lap speed of 153.932 mph.

Ron Hornaday Jr. would be second fastest with a lap speed of 153.643 and followed by Johnny Benson with a lap speed 0f 153.237.

Then Todd Bodine and Kyle Busch round out the top five.

Positions six through 10 were; Colin Braun, David Starr, Stacy Compton, Johnny Sauter and Brian Ickler.

Other notables were; Terry Cook 11th, Brian Scott 13th, Matt Crafton 15th, J.R. Fitzpatrick 18th, and Rick Crawford 21st.

In the final practice session 34 trucks participated.

To update the entry list, the field is now 36 trucks as the following four entries have withdrawn.

No. 75 Ryan Hackett/Ray Hackett Racing (Hackett was put in the No. 76 truck)

Qualifying for the AAA Insurance starts 10:00AM on Speed.While the race actually starts at 5PM, Speed has tape delayed the start till 8PM.
