Golden Tate: Recapping Tate's Week 13 Fantasy Performance

RotoWireContributor December 3, 2013

Tate saw five targets and caught four passes for 45 yards against the Saints on Monday. Though he was considered the team's No. 1 receiver with Percy Harvin out, Tate was used more as a possession guy in this one as Russell Wilson spread the ball around to nine different receivers.
Even with Harvin out of the lineup, Tate's production and opportunities were lacking here. The Saints defense kept him fairly well covered and Wilson opted to let them focus on him [Tate] while he [Wilson] found other receivers downfield. Harvin might be held out for the duration of the regular season, so Tate should have plenty of opportunities to shine for you in your fantasy playoffs over the next few weeks.
