This is what happens when you question or insult the Authority. CM Punk opened Monday Night Raw in Oklahoma City, Okla. with awesome mic work, but his show-opening diatribe bought him a seemingly unwinnable match at the Tables, Ladders and Chairs pay-per-view on Dec. 15.

It was announced during the broadcast and via Twitter that Punk would be facing all three members of The Shield at the company's last pay-per-view of 2013.

What brought on the punishment match?

Punk implied Triple H and the Authority were behind the attack by The Shield on Nov. 25 as he attempted to save his tag team partner Daniel Bryan from being abducted by The Wyatt Family. Punishments, abductions and diatribes...just a normal night on WWE television.

The Shield's superman, Roman Reigns, drilled Punk with a nasty spear that decimated the Second City Saint.

On Monday night, Punk came looking for answers but found more trouble.

By the time he was done insulting Triple H, Stephanie McMahon and the Authority's new crisis management officer, Kane, The Shield had come back to ringside to do more damage.

Punk grabbed a steel chair to defend himself, but Stephanie stopped the attack—for now. Kane delivered the news to the self-proclaimed Best in the World. With this matchup set, it seems there's tons of wiggle room for things to get interesting in 13 days.

Will Punk receive some help from his friends, beat the odds or just get destroyed?

Stay tuned.
