It was a tantalizing matchup of two of the NBA's best teams Monday night when Paul George and the red-hot Indiana Pacers traveled to Oregon to take on LaMarcus Aldridge and the surprising Trail Blazers.
Despite George's heroic 43-point performance, the Trail Blazers came to play and outlasted the Pacers by a score of 106-102.
Aldridge led the way for Portland, totaling 28 points and 10 rebounds. Damian Lillard chipped in 26 points as the Blazers improved to 15-3 on the year.
This was only the second loss of the season for the Pacers, who still boast an impressive 16-2 record.
