Even the greatest basketball player on the planet can have the occasional blunder.
At the five-minute mark of the first quarter of Sunday night's game between the Miami Heat and visiting Charlotte Bobcats, four-time NBA Most Valuable Player LeBron James blew a dunk attempt after receiving a pass from teammate Mario Chalmers.
To be fair, prior to the game, James received treatment for a tweaked back he suffered on November 29 against the Toronto Raptors. That could very well explain why he barely got any lift off the ground, as there was clearly no contact from any Bobcats player.
LeBron still on training table so he won't talk pregame, but team listed him as a starter. He said Friday that he tweaked his back.— Ethan J. Skolnick (@EthanJSkolnick) December 1, 2013
Either way, I'm sure we'll be seeing this on an upcoming episode of Shaqtin' a Fool.
