Jacksonville Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew is in his eighth season in the NFL, but he did something against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday that he had never done before: The running back threw for a touchdown.
Jones-Drew did a good job of finding tight end Marcedes Lewis and throwing on the run for an eight-yard touchdown pass. The halfback pass tied the game at 14 late in the second quarter.
Since entering the NFL in 2006, he had attempted only one pass—an interception in 2010. Now Jones-Drew has added a touchdown pass.
