GIF: Southampton's Jay Rodriguez Scores in 14 Seconds Against Chelsea

Southampton scored within the opening 15 seconds of their Premier League match at Chelsea on Sunday.

From the opening kickoff, Saints lost possession before Chelsea's Michael Essien played an errant backpass toward goalkeeper Petr Cech.

Jay Rodriguez pounced on the mistake and slotted his shot past Cech for a quick 1-0 Southampton lead. The official timing of the goal was 14 seconds.

Chelsea won the match 3-1.
