Hull City claimed a 3-1 victory at home to Liverpool on Sunday in the Premier League. It was the first time the Tigers have beaten Liverpool in 17 attempts.

David Meyler scored the winner in the 72nd minute, tucking in his shot at the far post following a scramble in Liverpool's box.

Hull added another in the 87th minute when Liverpool's Martin Skrtel headed the ball into his own net following Tom Huddlestone's shot.

The hosts had gone ahead in the 20th minute through Jake Livermore. Steven Gerrard equalised for Liverpool with a free kick seven minutes later.
