Illinois Student Section Reaches New Low Point as It Is Nearly Empty

The Illinois student section has reached a new low after it was nearly empty against Northwestern on Saturday.

With the lack of bodies in the stands, the Fighting Illini seniors were honored with cards up top. 

The sadness didn't end there. Those who were there later tried to make the "I" with cards, via Kevin Trahan of Inside Northwestern:

A few weeks ago against No. 3 Ohio State, the student section didn't have enough people to pull off a card stunt:

Things have just gotten worse since that game.
