Jose Mourinho is being tipped to link back up with former Real Madrid charge Sergio Ramos this winter after it emerged that the defender had a falling out with the capital club.

According to John Cross of the Mirror, Carlo Ancelotti was far from happy with Ramos following his sending-off against Galatasaray this week, which has unsettled the relationship between the two.

Cross goes on to say:

It has left Ramos’s future uncertain and there will be no shortage of takers, particularly from the Premier League. Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho had a turbulent time at Real Madrid alongside Ramos but wants a top quality defender.

Ramos is most certainly a top quality defender, but there's no mention of a price tag as of yet, nor whether the player would be open to a Premier League move.

That being said, Ramos' acquisition would be a huge coup for any club lucky enough to land him.
