No Secret Anymore: Dolphins Wildcat Here To Stay

George KaspriskeContributor IMay 29, 2009

At Miami Dolphins OTA's today, it was made clear that the wildcat offense is more than just a gimmick- and perhaps a warning was sent to the rest of the NFL.

This was the first day members of the press were permitted to attend the off season training sessions, and the team openly displayed its wildcat offense.

Pictured is running back Patrick Cobbs throwing a pass out of the formation, and wide receiver Ted Ginn, Jr. also took his turn playing quarterback.

The drafting of second round pick QB Pat White, who can both run and throw exceedingly well- signaled at least a partial commitment to the innovative offensive set, but a few more options to tinker with were revealed today...

NFL defenses are formally notified to prepare.
