Would you consider adding Holmes after this game?
The Oakland Raiders lost 31-24 against the Cowboys on Thanksgiving, but Holmes still played quite well. He finished with 136 receiving yards on seven receptions in this game, which is good for 13 fantasy points in ESPN's standard scoring leagues.
Heading into Thursday, Holmes had just three receptions for 65 yards, with all of that production coming since Week 11. He's been used more frequently as other players have been banged up, and he has suddenly developed a nice connection with new quarterback Matt McGloin.
However, keep in mind that Holmes did all of this against the Cowboys, a team that was allowing almost 300 passing yards per game. They seriously struggle to defend the pass, and that gave Holmes the chance to make some big plays in this game.
Don't expect games like this from Holmes for the rest of the season, so you shouldn't consider picking him up for your fantasy team.
