Clemens will attempt to lead the Rams to a seemingly improbable third straight win this week when they square off against division rival San Francisco on Sunday. Lead might be a stretch as he is more of a game-manager than anything else.
The 49ers' pass defense continues to improve and now ranks seventh in the league. In order for Clemens to succeed, he'll have to help lead the way through a defense that gives up just 207 passing yards per game and has given up just 11 touchdowns through the air.
