LeBron James had a very quiet first half of Saturday's first round NBA playoffs game between the Cavaliers and Wizards, until the closing moments of that half .

That's when a potentially volatile situation erupted with a near fistfight between the teams as they continue their long-running feud.

There was a lot of talk from the Wizards prior to this match-up. Gilbert Arenas actually stated, "We want the Cavs. They have been barely above .500 since they made that trade," and "They have beaten us twice, but they won't beat us a third time."

The Cavaliers, shooting a very poor .395 from the floor, somehow managed to play defense well enough to hold Washington to an even worse .200 in the fourth quarter.

The Wizards actually headed up most of the statistical categories with a very impressive 37 points in the paint compared to Cleveland's 24.

LeBron led all scorers with 32 going 8-for-14 from the free throw line and 12-for-19 from the floor. Zydrunas Ilgauskas followed LeBron for the Cavaliers, posting 22 points and 11 rebounds.

Delonte West was pretty much the nail in the Wizards' coffin. He sank four free throws for Cleveland in the final 15 seconds of the game.

This rivalry has been taken to a whole new leve. Round 2 is set for Monday night.

Get your popcorn ready, ladies and gentlemen, it's gonna be one for the ages.
