Julian Edelman: Week 13 Fantasy Outlook

RotoWireContributor November 27, 2013

Edelman leapt back into fantasy relevance last week, suddenly catching nine balls for 110 yards and two touchdowns -- a breakout reminiscent of his big Week 1, and really the only big game he's had since that first one of the year. He's likely to fall back to earth this week against the Texans.
Those considering Edelman this week should understand the context of his big game against Denver in Week 12 -- the Pats were playing from way behind and took to the air 50 times. Yes, Edelman saw 11 of those looks, which is a good ratio, but with all of New England's other options through the air, it's hard to count on him for a lot of big games. He's more of a stash than a plug-and-play.
