Rivers and the Chargers will host the Bengals on Sunday. In his last game, the veteran quarterback completed 27-of-39 passes for 392 yards and three touchdowns Sunday against the Chiefs.
In must-win situations, it has been so far, so good for Rivers. The Chargers face yet another game with playoff implications this week. Cincinnati has one of the AFC’s better defenses, but Kansas City also posed a remarkable challenge, a test which Rivers passed with flying colors. Expect him to post another robust stat line, if for no other reason than the large volume of throws he will make.
