Viewers on ITV were left to ponder why Andy Townsend shouted "Get in!" during commentary when Marseille had a shot on goal on Tuesday night against Arsenal.
At that stage, the Gunners were 2-0 up and coasting to victory, when Florian Thauvin had a chance to pull a goal back.
Clearly, Townsend wanted the goal to go in, but the question is why?
Does Townsend have an anti-Arsenal agenda? (Full disclosure: We have no reason to believe this.)
Did he have a few quid on a 2-1 scoreline? (Again: We've no evidence.)
Did he just want to see an exciting finale to a game that was only going one way?
Did he do it just to see if anyone would notice and deliberate over it the following day?
Your guess is as good as ours.
