WWE seems to have begun the process of unifying the WWE and World Heavyweight Championships at TLC. Looks can be deceiving, however, so paying customers should be weary of an indecisive finish in the forthcoming match between John Cena and Randy Orton.

Roman Reigns’ tear through the WWE roster continued on Raw when he and the Shield took apart CM Punk. Reigns was once again the focal point of the attack, which has many buzzing about his future as a top star. Case studies on the respective demises of Dolph Ziggler, Ryback, Jack Swagger and Wade Barrett should prove to be cautionary tales for Reigns’ so-called future.

Speaking of Ziggler, the former World Heavyweight champion continues to wallow in the obscure stench of gimmick hardcore matches. This week saw a Hamptons-themed brawl against Damien Sandow, whose stock has taken a hit just by association.
