After learning that the player has a transfer release clause of £16 million in his contract, a number of clubs are showing significant interest in the services of Atletico Madrid asset Koke.

One of those sides eager to cut a deal is Massimiliano Allegri's Milan, who the Daily Star's Nick Lustig says have been impressed by the 21-year-old's form in recent months.

The Rossoneri are said to be willing to offer the youngster a salary of £3.5 million a year, but Diego Simeone is striving to keep hold of his midfielder.

Koke is one of La Liga's most successful playmakers this season, having grabbed nine assists in his first 14 league encounters of the campaign.
