Simon Gagne Out Four to Six Weeks After Hip Surgery

It was announced today that Flyers winger Simon Gagne had successful hip surgery to remove a bone spur and adhesions caused by the spur in his right hip, according to GM Paul Holmgren.
Gagne, 29, had surgery in Nashville, Tennessee. The longest-tenured Flyer will begin his rehab assignment tomorrow and is expected to make a full recovery within 4-6 weeks.
Gagne had 34 goals and 40 assists for 74 points last season.
