Kaepernick completed 15-of-24 passes for 235 yards and three touchdowns as the 49ers' beat the Redskins 27-6 on Monday. He also carried the ball nine times for a total of 20 yards.
Just when the criticism piles up the most, that seems to be when Kaepernick responds the best. Of course, it helps when you're facing a weak secondary and a cornerback as bad as Josh Wilson. Kaepernick was able to take advantage of the mismatched coverage and hit Anquan Boldin on a 19-yard strike and a 6-yard pass, both for touchdowns while he was being covered by Wilson. He's going to need to show more against stronger teams, but fantasy owners should just be happy with what they got from him this week.
