Vernon Davis: Recapping Davis's Week 12 Fantasy Performance

RotoWireContributor November 26, 2013

Davis saw a team-high seven targets and caught four passes for 70 yards and a touchdown against the Redskins on Monday. Though he did lose a fumble, this was also the first time he found the end zone in back-to-back games since Week 5 and 6.
Davis showed some nice versatility in the passing game in this one as he pulled down a nice 40-yard grab as well as a quick one-yard out for a touchdown. With cornerbacks and safeties being so preoccupied with covering the likes of Anquan Boldin and Mario Manningham, Davis is going to see a lot of mismatched coverage and be able to take full advantage each week. Look for him to finish the season very strongly.
