I think the Montreal Canadiens should hire Guy LaFleur as the official spokesman for the team.

Yesterday, LaFleur stated that it's time for current Habs captain Saku Koivu to leave the Montreal Canadiens and go to Minnesota to play with his brother. He went on to say that he wouldn't mind seeing Alex Kovalev continue playing with the Habs.

We already know that LaFleur enjoys giving his opinion and being in the spotlight.

Everybody has the right to their own opinion, but does he go too far sometimes? Is this his way of attracting attention ? He should worry about his personal problems instead of who the Habs should have under contract.

One thing's for sure, he's very opinionated.
