Welker and the Broncos were unable to get the better of his former team after blowing a 24-point lead at halftime in Sunday's 34-31 overtime loss to the Patriots. The receiver contributed just 31 yards on four catches.
Welker was just one of the many Denver weapons who struggled in light of a miserable passing game that did little against the New England defense -- and the wind. For his part, Welker had eight targets and had a few drops, but should see more success against a Kansas City defense in Week 13 that will be without its two top pass rushers.
