Nate Burleson's Instant Fantasy Reaction After Week 12 Performance vs. Bucs

Detroit Lions wide receiver Nate Burleson is back just in time with fantasy playoffs on the horizon.

After breaking his arm in a car crash back in September while attempting to save pizzas (no joke), Burleson returned in Week 12 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and did some major damage right away.

As a result, Burleson is firmly back on the fantasy radar.

Burleson exploded with five receptions for 67 yards and a touchdown in the early goings against Tampa Bay as fellow receiver Calvin Johnson received all the attention from Darrelle Revis and others.

The Nevada product even made light of his pizza incident with a special celebration after a five-yard touchdown in the second quarter:

Burleson finished the day with seven receptions for 77 yards and his lone touchdown for a solid 13 fantasy points.

Fantasy owners should celebrate as well. The Detroit offense has been in desperate need of another receiver to step up across from Megatron.

That man would be Burleson, who is now a must-own player in all leagues. Defenses won't simply take attention away from Johnson, so No. 2 fantasy receiver production from Burleson is the floor the rest of the way.

Burleson hit a season high in fantasy points early in the second quarter Sunday, but he's just getting started in a pass-happy offense.
