Bray Wyatt Leads the Family to Victory

The match between the team of CM Punk and Daniel Bryan and the Wyatt Family’s Luke Harper and Erick Rowan has been booked perfectly thus far, but the biggest note has been the lack of involvement from Bray Wyatt during the build.

While he has cut great promos in the weeks leading up to this match, the leader of the stable is not directly involved. There is no doubt that Bray will be at ringside in his rocking chair, and he will likely play a role in how the bout ends.

The faces could easily win and give the crowd a cheap pop, but these two stars can recover from a loss, especially when the defeat is due to the interference of Wyatt. As much as random outside interference would be a suitable end to this match, the fans want to see Bray make a clear move at Punk with a low blow or hitting his finisher behind the ref’s back.

This angle could be leading to a one-on-one battle between CM Punk and Bray Wyatt.

Punk and Bryan are the hottest commodities in the WWE right now, and using that power to get the Wyatt Family over even more was a smart booking decision. Bryan should be moving away from this feud sooner rather than later, but a long-term battle between the charismatic Punk and the enigmatic Wyatt would make this an excellent storyline.

Wyatt will play a role in the match result, but fans should be watching for a direct attack from Bray on Punk and the continuation of what would shape up to be an interesting angle.

Big Show Wins Gold

Randy Orton is the heavy favorite to retain his WWE Championship, but it’s not out of the realm of possibility that the WWE has a huge swerve in store for the fans. Big Show has a chance to win this match if the company is looking for a transitional champion.

There is a very real possibility that Daniel Bryan will fight for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania XXX, and the overarching feud he has carried for months has been against Triple H and his quest to hold the bearded star down.

If Big Show is able to beat Orton for the title at Survivor Series and take the power away from The Authority, it would force Triple H to come out of retirement and challenge the new champion himself in order to get the belt back.

Orton would be the biggest loser in this swerve, and it should be noted that he is still the favorite to win this match, but there could be much more important angles boiling below the surface. Bryan never got his proper WWE Championship rematch, and it's clear the title scene is going to change drastically at the Royal Rumble.

The swerve could begin Sunday with a stunning Big Show title win.

The Shield Explodes

One of the most exciting matches on the card is the traditional five-on-five Survivor Series match that features the face team of Cody Rhodes, Goldust, Rey Mysterio and The Usos squaring off against The Shield and The Real Americans.

If there is a swerve in this bout, it would likely come in the form of The Shield’s implosion.

The WWE could save the breakup of The Shield for a different moment and make it feel special, but the company has been teasing tension for weeks. Dean Ambrose continues to act as the ultimate heel in the trio, but the hints have been there foreshadowing both Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins eventually dissolving from the group.

While The Shield hasn’t been booked as strongly as the trio was while beating John Cena and The Undertaker, the group is still just as red-hot as The Authority’s hand-chosen protection. Fans want this stable to continue thriving, but the possibility of a turn at the PPV is undeniable.

Whether it is on purpose or inadvertently, the WWE Universe should expect The Shield to cost the heel team the elimination tag team match.
