North Carolina 93, Louisville 84

Behind a career-high 32 points from Marcus Paige, the North Carolina Tar Heels pulled off an upset of the Louisville Cardinals at the Hall of Fame Tip-Off.

The matchup that featured two Hall of Fame coaches in Rick Pitino and Roy Williams saw the Cardinals get out to a hot start before the Tar Heels responded with authority.

Paige's three-pointer at the halftime buzzer handed the Tar Heels enough momentum to propel them into a second-half surge.

The UNC guard outdueled Russ Smith, who lit up the scoreboard for 36 points in the losing effort.

In the victory, Kennedy Meeks contributed a double-double while Brice Johnson scored 13 points.
