Marcus Mariota Tosses His 1st Interception of the Season on Acrobatic Tip Drill

Oregon quarterback Marcus Mariota held a Pac-12 record with 343 pass attempts without an interception heading into the game with Arizona. However, that streak ended Saturday.

Mariota's pass deflected off the hands of wide receiver Bralon Addison, and Arizona defensive back Shaquille Richardson managed to tip the ball back into the field of play. Arizona linebacker Scooby Wright was there to haul in the interception.

The Wildcats made the most of the turnover and went on to score the opening touchdown to take a 7-0 lead over the fifth-ranked Ducks.

Here's another view:

Mariota is hardly at fault for this pick; it took an incredibly athletic play to finally record an interception against the Ducks QB.
