In a game that was tightly contested for 36 minutes, the Denver Nuggets (5-6) pulled away from the Chicago Bulls (6-4) in the fourth quarter and won by a final score of 97-87.

At the start of the final frame, former Bull Nate Robinson scored seven straight points just ahead of six straight from Jordan Hamilton. Their combined 13-0 run put the Bulls away with eight minutes left as Chicago didn't threaten the lead for the rest of the way.

The Nuggets had six players reach double figures, led by 17 off the bench from Hamilton. He was 6-of-12 from the field and 3-of-6 from three-point range.

Kenneth Faried had a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds.

In the thin air of Denver, the Bulls started to look worn down by the Nuggets' up-and-down style about halfway through the third quarter.

Derrick Rose's struggles punctuated a bad second half for Chicago. At the half, he had 15 points on 7-of-12 shooting, but finished the game with 19 on 9-of-20 shooting.

Rose hasn't had a single game this season in which he's shot at least 50 percent from the field.
