Today, we start off with Portugal's crunch World Cup qualifier playoff with Sweden. You know, the one that Cristiano Ronaldo won virtually single-handed with his incredible hat-trick? Well, Zlatan Ibrahimovic has denied any suggestion that he showed good sportsmanship, via Goal.com, while Leo Messi has stated his pleasure at welcoming his La Liga rival to Brazil next summer, via ESPN. 

Next up, it's Adrian Mutu, who has once again found himself in disgrace. This time, the Romanian striker has insulted his national manager to earn a lifelong ban from the team via Metro.

Finally, David Beckham has explained the career he would have chosen had he not become a professional footballer, as per the Daily Mail. Let's just say he paints quite the picture.
