Minnesota Twins: Brian Buscher Heading North

AlexAnalyst IApril 19, 2008

Adam Everett has been placed on the 15-day disabled list with tendinitis in his right shoulder. There is no timetable for his return, but the first day that he'll be eligible to return to the lineup is April 29.

To take his place on the active roster, the Twins have recalled third basemen Brian Buscher from AAA Rochester. So far in fifteen games for the Red Wings, Buscher is hitting .345 with four homeruns and 11 RBI.

In addition, the Twins have sent Kevin Slowey and Michael Cuddyer to Fort Myers, Florida for rehab. Slowey will make two starts with the Miracle and then one with the Red Wings before returning. Cuddyer meanwhile will workout with the GCL team and return when healthy.
