FIFA referees will be instructed to use vanishing spray at the Club World Cup in Morocco next month to police the 10-yard distance between a free-kick and the defensive wall trying to block it.

As per the Associated Press, "vanishing spray is unlikely to be used at the World Cup in Brazil, though a decision could potentially be taken in March when Fifa's rules-making panel meets in Zurich."

The AP report goes on to say vanishing spray is used commonly in South American football "but is not widely used elsewhere."
