This is painful to watch.

Uniformedia gathered some of the more memorable martial-arts failures of the entire year for some rip-roaring video fun earlier this month.

Thankfully, Next Impulse Sports spotted the compilation and posted it on their website, alerting us all to a highlight reel that is well worth your time.

Now be warned that there are a couple of NSFW naughty words peppered in, because smashing your fist on a board is bound to provoke some expletives.

As we all know, this is the time when lists and unforgettable moments of the year that was will hit the Internet, most of which are meant to make us feel rather fond of the last 12 months.

Well, it's just as entertaining to relive some of our failures, reminding us that life can provide the occasional comedic gold now and again.

Now, we do have to note the producers of this video are a little liberal with what they consider events from this calendar year. They did manage to include the golfer getting smashed in the head in the clubhouse, something captured way back in the summer of 2012

Seeing as how it still draws a giggle, we will let that one slide.

With that being said, we also have to deduct points for not using some Joe Esposito. If ever there were a reason to bust out "You're the Best" one more time for the martial-arts world, it would be this video.

I also have to give a shout-out to the martial-arts master who tried his hand at demolishing an automobile pane as found in Street Fighter II

Take a gander at the 26-second mark and envision Ken, Ryu or E. Honda failing to make a dent, forcing you to toss your controller in frustration.

Thank you, Internet. I now feel better about my own nonexistent martial-arts ability.
