Garcon has proven himself as a legitimate WR2 in fantasy circles this season, but could face a stiff test Monday night. The Redskins face the San Francisco 49ers, a squad allowing just 220 yards per game through the air in 2013.
Garcon is the most targeted receiver in the Washington offense by a wide margin, and has two 100-yard receiving outbursts in his last three contests. However, he also reportedly suffered an ankle injury early on against the Eagles last week, and his explosiveness was limited as a result. He played through the injury, and will have an extra day off due to the Monday night timeslot, so hopefully it will not be a concern. He will play, and Garcon is too productive to bench.
