Yellow Card of the Week: Colwyn Bay and the FA for Altrincham Ref Farce

I've gone a little more obscure than usual this week. My yellow card relates to an FA Trophy match between Altrincham and Colwyn Way that ended in complete farce.

According to the Daily Mail, the match referee was injured with 10 minutes to go. That the FA didn't have a fourth official on hand brings them the first caution.

The second goes to Colywn Bay, who were trailing 2-0 but decided they'd rather see the match unfinished that have a stand-in official take over.

To be fair, the two suggestions were a qualified referee who allegedly "smelt of alcohol," and Altrincham's assistant coach.

Let's book the home side too. The whole thing is ridiculous.
