Despite the damage from Typhoon Haiyan on November 8, a basketball game broke out in a neighborhood in Tacloban, Philippines, on Sunday. The Associated Press (via Sporting News) captured these powerful images.

According to an AP correspondent on the scene, the basketball hoop was one of the first things this neighborhood rebuilt.
