With Blazer chatter dwindling, I had to grab an Insider membership so I could take a peak at the NBA mock draft. Plus, check out everything else ESPN likes to hide from me.

Ford's current mock draft shows Portland getting Nick Calathes at 24, which as of yesterday won't happen because he apparently signed with Panathinaikos of Greece. I didn't know much about him, but as far as point guards go that takes us back to Darren Collison. Ford initially had Portland taking Collison but a more intriguing guy for me would be Patty Mills out of St. Mary's.

Being a Gonzaga graduate I've had a lot of opportunities to watch Mills play. Unfortunately he is a bit undersized for the NBA, but he's definitely a gamer, and the way he played against CP3 and D-Will in the Olympics pretty much solidified the fact that he can run with great point guards of the NBA.

I still have no idea if a point guard is the pick or if the Blazers will even stay at the 24th pick. But if the Blazers do, I wouldn't mind taking a closer look at Mills.

What are your thoughts on the draft? Do you even care or do you get more and more excited as the June 25th date draws near?
