Dahntay Jones will receive a flagrant foul 1 for his trip on Kobe Bryant in Game Four of the Los Angeles Lakers and Denver Nuggets series. Jones now has three flagrant foul points and faces a one-game suspension.

The league reviewed the play after announcers of the game and Lakers’ coach Phil Jackson complained about the play.

I cannot see how the NBA can call this a flagrant foul now when it was not even called in the game. This makes no sense.

If the NBA wanted to do anything they should have said the officials missed a call and let it go after that. They should not make up calls that never happened in a game. The NBA is wrong for this one.
