DENVER - MAY 25: Dahntay Jones #30 of the Denver Nuggets goes up for a shot in the lane against Kobe Bryant #24 of the Los Angeles Lakers in Game Four of the Western Conference Finals during the 2009 NBA Playoffs at Pepsi Center on May 25, 2009 in Denver, Colorado. Dahntay Jones will receive a flagrant foul 1 for his trip on Kobe Bryant in Game Four of the Los Angeles Lakers and Denver Nuggets series. Jones now has three flagrant foul points and faces a one-game suspension.

The league reviewed the play after announcers of the game and Lakers’ coach Phil Jackson complained about the play.

I cannot see how the NBA can call this a flagrant foul now when it was not even called in the game. This makes no sense.

If the NBA wanted to do anything they should have said the officials missed a call and let it go after that. They should not make up calls that never happened in a game. The NBA is wrong for this one.
