Rivers completed 22-of-34 passes for 298 yards with a touchdown and interception in Sunday's 20-16 loss at Miami. He was also sacked three times by a strong Dolphin pass rush.
Rivers almost led San Diego back to a win in the closing seconds, but was again put in a tough predicament by his defense. Moving forward, Rivers owners will need to monitor Allen's status, as he has been a large reason for the success of San Diego's passing game this season.
