Moreno had a season-high 27 carries for 79 yards in Sunday's game against the Chiefs. He was surprisingly targeted only once in the passing game, which did not result in a catch.
The Chiefs' defense did a good job of keeping Moreno bottled up, but Denver remained committed to the run. Unfortunately for Moreno owners, most of the dividends fell to rookie Monte Ball, who scored twice. A possible timeshare in Denver is an interesting situation to monitor. If the trend continues, Moreno gets bumped from his status as a surefire RB1.
