Icelandic media has reported that eight Croatian players drank 70 beers after Friday's World Cup play-off in Reykjavik.

Visir.is, as cited by 101 Great Goals, quote a local barman who claimed that Mateo Kovacic, Mario Mandzukic, Darijo Srna, Nikica Jelavic, Vedran Corluka, Niko Kranjcar, Eduardo da Silva and Domagoj Vida hit the booze hard after the 0-0 draw with Iceland in the first leg of the play-offs.

The report also claims that the players were still partying at 5 a.m. and were smoking cigarettes.

If true, it's hardly the ideal preparations for Tuesday's return leg in Zagreb, where a place in the World Cup finals in Brazil is up for grabs.
