Mendenhall carried the ball 13 times for 14 yards and a touchdown while also catching two passes for 13 yards against the Jaguars on Sunday. While the touchdown carry was nice, the yard total is incredibly disappointing given the fact that the Jaguars have allowed the most rushing yards this season.
Though overall he has been a huge disappointment, Mendenhall continues to see lead running back responsibilities from coach Bruce Arians. Fantasy owners have expected a changing of the guard to Andre Ellington, but to no avail as Arians is apparently enamored with Mendenhall's ability to get stuffed at the line of scrimmage more often than not. He'll continue in his usual role next week when the Cardinals tangle with the Colts.
